HOTAS Stands Update
Recieved the tools, bought some 2x4s, a sheet of plywood, safety glasses, clamps and other tools Saturday. I was able to cut all the pieces I would need to get the first HOTAS stand built, except for the angled side. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet.
Sunday I tried to create a drill guide with leftover wood so I could easily drill pilot holes for the screws for the actual stand. I did not have much luck, as the 1/2 inch plywood did not really like the drwall screws I was using. The wood was splitting pretty bad. I need to go find some other type of screw use. I really would like mini drywall screws!
